We Make School Excursions Easy

We understand that organising a school excursion involves more than choosing a destination.

To make the day as simple as possible for teachers and school staff, coach transfers are included, with pick-up from your school, transport to Lake Moondarra and return travel after your excursion.

Our 58-seat coach allows us to provide transport for schools throughout Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Camooweal and Dajarra, subject to availability and excursion requirements.

Once you arrive at Lake Moondarra, students and teachers can step aboard the Thomson Princess for a scenic and educational cruise across one of North West Queensland’s most important community assets.

Mount Isa Water Board guided experiences may be available on request, providing students with the opportunity to learn more about Lake Moondarra, water management and the role of the lake in supporting the Mount Isa community.

Cultural experiences with local Kalkadoon Elders may also be available on request, offering students an opportunity to learn about local Aboriginal culture, connection to Country, history and traditional knowledge.

Availability of additional presenters and experiences is subject to confirmation when your excursion is booked.
