Our included transfers are designed for guests staying at Mount Isa accommodation. You will be asked on booking where your collection point will be. If you are staying somewhere different or are unsure whether your pickup location is included, please contact us before booking. Feel free to park at the pickup locations

Yes, however, with return accommodation transfers included, visitors collected by the bus service. This is a condition of the permits to operate by reducing the carbon footprint.

Toilet facilities are available at the Lake Moondarra departure area. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before your cruise. There is a portable camping toilet onboard the boat if you need it, but access to public toilets will be immediately before cruise and immediately after.

In fact, we encourage you to bring your camera. The changing light across the lake, surrounding ranges and outback landscape makes for some beautiful photographs.

Just remember to put the camera down every now and then and enjoy the view!

Yes – we have a ramp for boarding with wide gates. The bus transfers do not have wheelchair accessibility; however the Mount Isa Water Board have given permission for the guests that cannot travel on the bus to access the Black Rock Boat Ramp car parking areas which has a wide walk through gate access to our departure point. The toilet on board is not accessible.

No – Dogs are not allowed on the cruise or at the lake. There are a number a dog minding facilities available in town.

Yes, there is full Telstra service at Lake Moondarra, however there will be patches of no service on the way to and from the lake.

Including bus transfers, the tour usually last approximately 3 hours.

This is dependent on the time of the year as the sunset dictates when we arrange pick up times. In the winter months is can be as early as 3:45pm.
